It was such a pleasure to see all the "regulars" at the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market today. Stunningly beautiful weather, good cheese, great friends, and Varichon et Clerc to celebrate Julianna's and my immanent departure to France. And with any luck, the fact that I've told people that this blog exists will prompt me to post something more often than once per quarter.
We're leaving on April 7 for nine weeks traveling around France, with excursions into Italy and Switzerland. We'll be WWOOFing, and spending two weeks on farms in the Pyrenees and the Haute-Savoie, as well as stopping to see some sundry cheese and wine people on the way.
Below is our rough itinerary; if anyone has any suggestions about places to check out, please let us know. We'll be back in SF in the middle-ish of June. See you all then.
